Flu, COVID-19, and RSV Vaccination

Published date: October 2, 2025

The best way to protect yourself and others from Influenza (the flu) and COVID-19 is to get vaccinated each year. It is safe to get the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time. If you are eligible to receive the RSV vaccine, you may also receive it at the same time if you wish.

Where to get your flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccine

Starting October 2025, Health PEI Public Health Nursing will offer Community Vaccination Clinics at locations across the province. Flu and COVID-19 vaccines will also be available through your family physician or nurse practitioner and pharmacies across the province.

FluMist® (nasal spray) is available only at the Public Health Nursing Community Vaccination Clinics for children 2 to 17 years of age.

If you are 65 years of age or older, you can receive the flu vaccine for individuals 65+, available at Public Health Nursing Community Vaccination Clinics and community pharmacies.

If you are 75 years of age or older, you can receive the Respiratory Synctial Virus (RSV) vaccine available at Public Health Nursing Vaccination Clinics.

Cost

Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are free to all individuals living in Prince Edward Island. You must bring your PEI Health Card with you to the clinic.
