Asphalt resurfacing for Route 2 in Norboro

Asphalt resurfacing will improve road surface quality and drainage on Route 2 in Norboro.

The work begins near the intersection of Route 2 and Route 8 (Freetown Road) and proceeds west on Route 2 for approximately 1 kilometre. 

Dates: 
Wednesday, October 29, with work expected to take one week.

Traffic: 
Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.

Safety: 

  • Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area.
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
