Asphalt work begins in Springhill and Mount Pleasant

Asphalt replacement has begun in Springhill and Mount Pleasant and should take approximately two weeks to complete.

This work begins 250 metres south of the intersection of Route 2 and Stewart Road and proceeds north on Route 2 for approximately 1.7 kilometres.

The project also includes a section that begins 260 metres north of Ellerslie Road and proceeds north on Route 2 for 1.2 kilometres.  

Please obey signs and traffic control personnel. Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.

Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop. Delays can be expected.
