Bridge being replaced on Mill Road

Traffic will be detoured in Green Road as crews replace a bridge on Mill Road (Route 50221).

Mill Road will be closed between Ferguson Road (Route 50104) and South Melville Road (Route 246) during the work.

Dates: 

August 10, with work expected to be completed by October, 2026.

Traffic:

Only local traffic will be permitted until construction is finished. Drivers are asked to slow down, obey signs, and follow the posted detour route on the Ferguson Road (Route 50104), Mill Road (Route 50221), and South Melville Road (Route 246).

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
