Health PEI has an update on COVID-19 outbreaks in two facilities. The COVID-19 outbreak at the Restorative Unit at Prince County Hospital in Summerside has been declared over. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown has declared a new outbreak of COVID-19 on its Unit 7, which houses the rehabilitation unit.

Health PEI would like to thank staff for their dedication in managing and limiting the COVID-19 outbreak within these facilities. Visitors are reminded to wear a mask inside all Health PEI facilities and to not visit if they are feeling unwell.
