Customer Notice: Summerside Granville Street Liquor Store to be Renovated
Beginning Sunday, September 9th, the Summerside Granville Street Liquor Store of the PEI Liquor Control Commission will be closed for renovations. It is expected that these will last up to 5 weeks. The Liquor Control Commission apologizes to its valued customers for this inconvenience while improvements are made to the store.
“The newly renovated store will feature an increased selection in products, a sampling station, a buy local section as well as improved and energy efficient lighting which will result in a better shopping environment for our customers” said Jamie MacLeod, Director of Corporate Services.
Through a public tender the successful bidder was Brighton Construction who will be the general contractor for the renovation work.
The renovation is part of the Commission’s strategic plan in addition to its mandate to manage the distribution of beverage alcohol in a manner that meets the needs of the consumer and maximizes revenues in a socially responsible manner.
During the renovation period the Summerside Waterfront Mall Liquor Store and Kensington Liquor Store will both have extended hours.
