Granville Street and Route 2 Roundabout – Summerside

Construction on the Granville Street and Route 2 roundabout continues.

Starting May 28, traffic will be diverted onto temporary roads immediately south of the intersection. This diversion will allow the work to be done more safely and in a shorter time period.

On the diversion roads, the speed limit will be reduced to 40 km per hour.  Drivers should follow directional signs to guide them through the intersection.

Traffic should be prepared to stop. Temporary traffic signal lights will be in operation at the relocated intersection of Granville Street and Route 2.

Please obey signs and traffic control personnel.  Delays can be expected.

Work is expected to be complete by the end of August.
