Morell Bridge Replacement – Single Lane Update

A temporary bridge is being constructed adjacent to the existing bridge in Morell.

Two-lane traffic will be maintained for all traffic on Route 2 during the construction, with exception of a 5-6 week period starting July 26th, when a single lane controlled by traffic lights, will be required along the east approach.

Motorists are advised to use caution entering and driving through the site. 

Target temporary bridge open to 2 lane all traffic: end September 2021.
Target new bridge open to all traffic: June 2022.
Target temporary bridge removal: August 2022.
