Paving work on TCH in Stratford Wednesday and Thursday

Beginning Wednesday, July 15, paving of the final seal coat on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) in Stratford will take place. Work will continue on Thursday.

Paving will not begin until 9:00am each day. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction while paving is underway.

Paving will take place on one side of the center median and traffic will travel on the opposite side of the median. As part of this work, traffic control persons will be controlling traffic flow at the Kinlock Rd intersection. Motorists wishing to access Mason Rd are asked to use Bunbury Rd to reduce traffic congestion on the TCH through the work zone and to use alternate routes when possible. Motorists are reminded to reduce speed, obey construction signs and traffic control personnel, and be prepared to stop. Delays are to be expected.

Note: this work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if there is heavy rain.
