Road paving and left turn lane (DeSable)

Beginning, Tuesday, October 26, work will begin to construct a left turn lane onto Old Appin Road in DeSable.

Paving begins 125 meters east of the intersection of Route 1 and Route 19 and continues east for 3,000 meters. 

The eastbound climbing lane will be closed. Two-way traffic will be maintained however, two-way, one-lane stop-and-go traffic will be required at certain times. 

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and be prepared to stop. Delays can be expected. 

Work is expected to take 6-8 weeks.
