Road work in Clyde River

Work has begun on the new Trans-Canada Highway interchange in Clyde River.

Cold planing on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of the Bannockburn Road, is underway and will be complete Monday. Traffic will be diverted through the newly constructed roads starting late Monday until the new highway is open.

Construction-related heavy equipment and truck traffic will be accessing the Trans-Canada Highway at this location so drivers are reminded to reduce speed, be prepared to stop and obey signs and traffic control personnel.

Work will continue through October.
