Road work on Route 101 and Route 6 in Kensington

Road work begins on July 4 on Route 101 and Route 6 in Kensington. 

Work includes cold planing and widening shoulder areas, and placing asphalt seal over the full width of the road.  

Work begins on Route 101 (Irishtown Road) 95 metres north of the intersection of Route 101 and Davison Street and proceeds north for a distance of 1800 metres. Work also includes 200 metres of paving on Route 6 (Victoria Street East) from the intersection of Route 2 and Route 6 to the Confederation Trail.

Two-way one-lane traffic will be maintained during the work. Reduce speed, be prepared to stop and follow the instructions of signs and traffic control personnel.
