Roadwork on Riverside Drive
Roadwork begins Thursday, August 22 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Riverside Drive in Charlottetown to install a new watermain under the roadway.
The work will take place near the start of the right turn ramp on Riverside Drive toward Grafton Street.
Single lane traffic will be in effect for traffic heading towards Stratford, Water Street, and Grafton Street from Riverside Drive. The right turn ramp from Riverside Drive to Grafton Street will be closed for a portion of the work, so truck traffic may want to use alternate routes.
Delays can be expected. Drivers are asked to slow down, be prepared to stop and obey signs and traffic control personnel.
