Roadwork scheduled for Crapaud

Roadwork is scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 1 on Route 1 in Crapaud and is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete.

The first section of work begins approximately 190 metres east of the intersection of Route 1 and Memory Road and proceeds east for a distance of 950 metres. 

The second section of work begins at the intersection of Old Post Road and Route 1 and proceeds west on Old Post Road for approximately 100 metres. 

The work includes excavation, placing sandstone and gravel, landscaping and asphalt replacement.

Please obey signs and traffic control personnel. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane, with stop and go in effect for both directions.

Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop. Delays can be expected.
