Roadwork starts October 1 in Rocky Point

Roadwork will begin Tuesday, October 1 on Blockhouse Road in Rocky Point and will take approximately three weeks to complete.

The work begins near the intersection of Blockhouse Road and Hache Gallant Drive and proceeds on Blockhouse Road for approximately 900 metres. 

The work includes excavation, placing sandstone and gravel, and landscaping.  

Please obey signs and traffic control personnel. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane, with stop and go in effect for both directions.

Motorists should reduce speed and be prepared to stop. Delays can be expected.
