Roadwork underway on Route 3 in Georgetown

Roadwork is underway on Route 3 in Georgetown. This initial work includes replacing cross culverts.

The roadwork begins 220m east of the intersection of Brudenell Island Boulevard and Route 3, and proceeds easterly along Route 3 for a distance of 3,610 metres. 

Two-way, one lane traffic will be maintained. Motorists are reminded that while driving in a construction zone they are required to reduce their speed, and be prepared to stop. Motorists are asked to follow instructions from traffic control personnel and abide by signage. 

This portion of the work is expected to be complete by June 5.
