Route 2 Paving, Brookfield

Paving on Route 2 in the Brookfield and Greenvale area begins today, August 2 and is expected to be completed by the end of next week.

Roadwork will begin 240 metres west of the Route 226 (Darlington Road), and proceeds westwardly along Route 2 for 2.4 kilometres. 

Milled surfaces and uneven lanes are expected during roadwork. Two-way one-lane stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Drivers are to reduce speeds, obey signs and traffic control personnel, and be prepared to stop as needed.

Delays can be expected.
