Stratford roundabout – Route 1

Construction on the Stratford roundabout (Route 1) will begin on Tuesday, May 7.

Initial work will take place outside the travel lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway, resulting in minimal impact to traffic over the next two weeks. There may be intermittent periods of two-way, one-lane traffic to accommodate the movement of construction equipment. Some delays can be expected.

In mid-May, roundabout construction will begin to affect the travel lanes. Updated traffic advisories will be provided. Drivers are asked to exercise caution and follow directions from traffic control personnel.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-September.
