Visitor precautions at Maplewood Manor

Maplewood Manor in Alberton has implemented visitor precautions due to an outbreak of respiratory illness.

Visitors are asked to stay home if they are feeling unwell to prevent the spread of illness to residents, staff and the public.

It is extremely important that everyone coming to the manor clean their hands before and after entering a resident’s room, or any household, and upon entering and leaving the facility.  Alcohol-based hand rub stations are available throughout health care facilities for this purpose.

The Manor is assessing the situation regularly and will provide an update on Tuesday, September 10.
