Visitor restrictions continue at Maplewood Manor, restrictions lifted at Western Hospital

Visitor restrictions continue at Maplewood Manor due to a respiratory illness. An update will be provided on Thursday (September 12).

Meanwhile visitor restrictions due to norovirus have been lifted at Western Hospital.

As a good practice at any time, visitors should refrain from visiting a health care facility should they feel unwell. As well, always practise good hand hygiene when entering and existing a facility and a patient’s or resident’s room. Alcohol-based hand rub stations are available throughout health care facilities for this purpose.
