Engage with the Island's past
At Orwell, the site dates back to the 19th century. At least six different Scottish families over a sixty year period called it home. Thousands of artifacts have been unearthed thousands from structural features to everyday household items and personal belongings.
Each day, excavations are led by Provincial Archaeologist Dr. Helen Kristmanson and field crew.
