Individual Recovery Journey program - Charlottetown

A Canadian Mental Health Association program for individuals who have a mental illness and wish to build skills for recovery. The program runs for five weeks and is free to attend. 

How long is the program?

The program begins October 19, 2017. Each week, the program is two hours, from 1:00 to 3 :00 pm.

Who runs the program?

Weekly sessions are delivered by Canadian Mental Health Association staff and trained peer facilitators, who are also living with a mental illness.

What topics will be covered?

Weekly sessions include the following topics:

  •  What is Recovery?
  •  Quality of Life
  •  Self-Management
  •  Medication as a Tool
  •  Moving Forward: Personal Action Planning

Each session includes discussion, activities, videos and resources.
