Municipal Government Act - CAO Training Sessions

The Municipal Government Act (MGA) is now in effect and there are increased expectations for municipal councils and administrators. Municipal Affairs is offering a “how to” session for all Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) on the MGA. This session will focus on new requirements in the Act and what CAOs need to do to meet them. The session will provide CAOs with an in-depth understanding of the MGA to help them effectively manage their administrative responsibilities for their municipality.

CAOs have the option of attending the afternoon or evening session.

  • Afternoon 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Evening 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The storm date for these sessions will be February 21 (at the same times and location of the original session).
