Rural Youth Fair

The provincial 4-H Rural Youth Fair marks the official end of the 4-H year in Prince Edward Island. Members showcase their projects and learn new skills.

Everyone welcome - free admission!

Schedule of Events

8:00 am - Alumni Breakfast
9:00 am - Small animal classes in the following order: Canine, sheep, goat, turkey, poultry
10:00 am - Learn to Do by Doing Derby: Art Battle
10:45 am - Rabbit Classes show
11:00 am - Dairy (showmanship) classes show

Bent Elements activities open and face painting

11:15 am - Beef showmanship classes / Turkey and poultry confirmation classes

11:30 am - Learn to Do By Doing Derby: Pizza Making

Kitchen and fry wagon opens for lunch

1:00 pm - Official Ceremonies including live turkey auction

2:00 pm - Horse and pony classes with dairy and beef confirmation classes with Royal Fair selection classes to follow

2:30 pm - Learn to Do By Doing Derbies: Mask Decorating and Tractor Rodeo
