Women's Institute Product Cooking Contest
Open to all intermediate and high school students (grades 7 to 12) across Prince Edward Island.
Entries must incorporate at least three PEI agriculture or fishery based ingredients (fruits, vegetables, grain, dairy, eggs, beef, pork, poultry, fish or shellfish).
Top entries in categories would be selected to prepare appetizer sized portions of the recipe for up to four
premium chef judges. Final round entries will be invited to the WI Founder’s Day in February for final judging.
Deadline to enter: December 15, 2017
Prizes include cash awards in each of the categories:
- 1st prize: $250
- 2nd prize: $100
- 3rd prize: $50
In addition to a cash prize, the top winner in each category will receive a top prize package and be featured in cookbooks and on online where permissible.
