Fire Weather Index (FWI)

The Domestic Burn Permit Application is now available online.

The Forests, Fish and Wildlife Division offices are still closed and paper permits will not be issued at this time.

The Fire Weather Index (FWI) is updated daily during fire season on PEI. Fire season runs from March 15 - November 30 and Burning Permit holders are required to check and adhere to the FWI for their region.

This page is not updated during the winter months.
