Surveillance and Emergency Management Sub-Program
The Surveillance and Emergency Management Initiative Sub-Program will provide support for surveillance and emergency management plans.
Who is eligible for funding?
- Mi’kmaq First Nations and other Indigenous Organizations;
- Agricultural producers;
- Agriculture industry organizations, clubs, and associations;
- Public and Private Institutions;
- Small to Medium Sized Agri-Businesses; and
- Provincial/Territorial Governments.
What types of activities are eligible for funding?
- Awareness/Outreach;
- Training/Education;
- Technical assistance;
- Pre-audit/first audit assistance;
- Support for maintenance and enhancement of provincial premises identification system and databases;
- Consultancy work;
- Emergency management, mitigation and preparedness;
- Surveillance initiatives; and
- Premises identification program management.

When can I submit my applications?
Applications for Surveillance and Emergency Management will open at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018. Applications received prior to this date and time will not be considered
