Monthly Occupancy Reporting for Tourism Licence Requirement
As required according to the Tourism Industry Act, occupancy information (room nights sold and room nights available) for all fixed roof accommodation and campgrounds on Prince Edward Island must be submitted to the Tourism PEI compliance section as a condition of licensing.
Information submitted must detail monthly occupancy and related origin (province, state, country) information. This information must be submitted on a monthly basis for each month your operation is open and must be filed by the tenth (10th) day of the month following the month for which the occupancy return is filed, e.g. June occupancy information must be filed by July 10.
