Borrowing Guidelines

You must return the instrument to the library from which you borrowed it during regular library hours. A replacement charge may apply for lost or damaged items.

Instrument Care

Please keep the instrument in its case when not in use and store in normal room temperature conditions. Make sure your hands are clean before playing. Finally, follow this link for videos offering more simple care tips.

Donating to the Collection

Your donation of a new or gently used instrument will help make music more accessible through the Sun Life Musical Instrument Lending Library. We accept donations of portable keyboards and string instruments like guitars, violins, banjos, and ukuleles. We are unable to accept wind instruments at this time. Drop off your donations at any public library or Long & McQuade stores on PEI.
