Programs of Study

Prince Edward Island curriculum documents outline courses and content covered in each subject at all grade levels. Curriculum documents specify what students are expected to know and be able to do after learning the content. Provinces and territories work together to develop curriculum that is consistent and reflective of Canadian culture. Core curricula like math, language arts, and science are similar across the country.

Other documents and guidelines exist to support PEI curricula, provide aids for teachers to use in the classroom, and outline learning resources.
