Home Library Service
The Home Library Service is an outreach program that delivers library materials to Islanders who are not able to visit a library in person. Items are chosen by library staff, and delivered by volunteers every six weeks.
Who is eligible?
This service is available to anyone:
- with a physical or print disability;
- with restricted mobility;
- with a chronic condition; or
- recovering from surgery or illness.
If you live in a community care facility, you can also speak to a care worker about using the library's Community Care Facility Book Delivery Service.

Fill out a Home Library Service application form and bring it to your local library.
