PEI Energy Corporation

The PEI Energy Corporation is a Crown corporation that: 

• Plans and supports energy systems across PEI
• Helps make energy more efficient and sustainable
• Owns five wind farms and one solar farm that generate electricity for Islanders
• Supports how energy is made, moved, and used
• Brings together and coordinates government energy programs 

The PEI Energy Corporation is governed by a board of directors, including:

• Deputy Minister of Land and Environment
• Deputy Minister of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy
• Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Rural Development and Tourism
• Chief Executive Officer of Innovation PEI
• Clerk of the Executive Council
• Secretary to Treasury Board
