Gender-based Violence Prevention in Disaster Management

The Government of Prince Edward Island has contracted Ipsos to speak with victims and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) about how to enhance support services, with a focus on times of environmental disasters.

If you or someone you know has experienced gender-based violence (GBV) (harmful acts directed at an individual based on their gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity), we want to hear from you.

The input gathered from this survey will provide recommendations to PEI’s Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action, to improve response and work to prevent GBV during emergencies and disasters.

All information will be confidential, and no participants will be identified. The survey will be open March 10–28.
