Health PEI Board
The Province of Prince Edward Island is seeking applications from members of the public for participation on the Health PEI Board of Directors. The Health PEI Board works on behalf of Islanders to provide high-level oversight of Health PEI’s financial management and delivery of safe, quality health care. The board governs Health PEI, oversees the work of the chief executive officer, and is accountable to the Minister of Health and Wellness.
The Health PEI Board generally meets the first Thursday of every other month at locations throughout the province. Board members usually devote the equivalent of one day each month to board-related work. This includes attending board meetings, committee work, planning and development sessions, and meeting preparation. Applicants should clearly identify the skills and experience they have to address the dynamic needs of providing oversight, financial management, and organizational planning for Health PEI. Deadline for applications is January 31, 2022.

Poverty Elimination Council
The Province of Prince Edward Island is seeking applications from members of the public for participation in the newly formed Poverty Elimination Council. Applicants should clearly identify the skills and experience they have to address the many needs and principles while focusing on populations who experience a higher risk of living in poverty, as identified in Part 3 of the Poverty Elimination Strategy Act.
The Council provides advice to the Minister on the content of the strategy; poverty and social inclusion indicators; proposed programs, policies, and initiatives; and the baseline and indicators used to measure the performance of the strategy. The Council monitors the implementation of the strategy, facilitates community involvement in the development and implementation of the strategy, and assists the Minister with the preparation of the Annual Report as required in the Act. Deadline for applications is January 28, 2022.

Acadian and Francophone Community Advisory Committee
Would you like to contribute to the well-being and development of the Acadian and Francophone community? Would you like to influence the development of French-language programs and services and share your views on various community issues? Then you are invited to submit your application to Engage PEI to become a member of the Acadian and Francophone Community Advisory Committee (ACFAC). We are looking for three (3) new members: two (2) as members at large and one (1) to represent the West Prince region. Deadline for applications is January 14, 2022.
