Acadian and Francophone Community Advisory Committee
Would you like to contribute to the well-being and development of the Acadian and Francophone community? Would you like to influence the development of French-language programs and services and share your views on various community issues? Then you are invited to submit your application to Engage PEI to become a member of the Acadian and Francophone Community Advisory Committee (ACFAC). There are four meetings per year.
The Committee is currently seeking (3) new members: one (1) member at large, one (1) to represent the Eastern Kings region and one (1) to represent Rustico.
Deadline for applications is Friday, June 30, 2023.
Boilers and Pressure Vessels Advisory Board
The Department of Agriculture is soliciting applications for members at large. The Department values and supports diversity in representation in its agencies, boards, and commissions and encourages applicants from across the Island’s diverse population.
The Boilers and Pressure Vessels Advisory Board regulates the construction and modification of all boilers and pressure vessels on PEI, this includes assuring the inspection of all boilers and pressure vessels on PEI is accurate and inspections are conducted in accordance with the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Act and Regulations. The Board is also responsible for reviewing any technical evidence with respect to accidents concerning boilers, pressure vessels, or pressure piping systems.
The Board is currently seeking applications for members at large.
Farm Practices Review Board
The Department of Agriculture soliciting applications from members of the public who are not farmers. The Department values and supports diversity in representation in its agencies, boards and commissions and encourages applicants from across the Island’s diverse population.
The Farm Practices Review Board is responsible for responding to written complaints about farming practices, determining normal farm practices, designating codes of practice, and reviewing any proposed enactment, policy or undertaking that may adversely affect an agricultural operation.

Holland College Board of Governors
Holland College Board of Governors is soliciting applications to fill an upcoming vacancy for a member of the business and industrial community in PEI.
Holland College has been committed to providing the best quality programs and services to its clients and has been a key contributor to the island economy for over fifty years. The Board is the governing body of the college and oversees the conduct, management and control of the college and college properties, revenues, expenditures, business and affairs.
Meetings are generally held monthly during the academic year, and board appointments are for a three-year term. Members do not receive a per diem for this board but may be eligible for reimbursement for travel expenses to attend meetings and events.

PEI Arts Guild Inc.
The PEI Arts Guild Inc. is currently recruiting for representatives for their Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for providing strategic guidance to ensure visual artists and performers have a venue to perform and display their art. The Board of Directors meets about ten times each year and is seeking representation from all ends of the arts and culture spectrum.
The PEI Arts Guild Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate includes to own and operate The Guild Theatre and Art Gallery in Charlottetown. The venue hosts approximately 200 live events each year and the gallery is open to the public 12 months a year.

PEI Marketing Council
The Department of Agriculture values and supports diversity in representation in its agencies, boards and commissions and encourages applicants from across the Island’s diverse population.
The PEI Marketing Council supervises the creation and operation of producer boards, commissions and groups that regulate and control the production, sale, processing, marketing, transportation and pricing of natural products. Council recommends the establishment, amendment, or revocation of regulations to Executive Council, provides advice to commodity boards, conducts commodity board elections and plebiscites, advises the Minister and acts as liaison with national and other provincial agencies.

PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation
Are you passionate about the human and natural heritage of Prince Edward Island? Would you like to contribute to the protection and preservation of our province’s history, and ensure that Islanders and visitors alike have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with our shared past?
Then you are invited to submit your application to Engage PEI to become a member of the Board of Governors of the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation.
The Board is currently seeking two (2) new members. Deadline for applications is May 26, 2023.
Rural Communities Council
The Department of Fisheries, Tourism, Sport and Culture is soliciting applications for members to participate in the Rural Communities Council. The department values and supports diversity in representation in its agencies, boards, and commissions and encourages applicants from across the Island’s diverse population. The Rural Communities Council provides advice and makes recommendations to the Government regarding rural topics related to the themes of people, communities, the environment, and wellness and explores opportunities for development in rural PEI. Meetings are held 4-6 times per year.
The council is currently seeking one (1) additional member in Queens county and one (1) additional member in Kings county.
Workers Compensation Board of PEI
The Workers Compensation Board of PEI is seeking applications from interested Islanders for the position of a workers & employer representatives. Current working knowledge and experience in operations, policy development, strategic thinking and human resource functions would be considered an asset. WCB values and supports diversity and encourages applicants from across the Island's diverse population. We are seeking applications from interested worker/employer representatives for future vacancies.
