About the Disability Advisory Council

The Prince Edward Island Disability Advisory Council provides advice to government on issues affecting persons with disabilities. If you have a disability, the council helps by improving the programs and services you receive.

The Disability Advisory Council has three primary roles:

  1. to advise government on policies, programs and services related to persons with disabilities;
  2. to promote public awareness; and
  3. to foster partnerships between members of the Council, government and the community.
