Intergeneration Week

In PEI, Intergeneration Week is celebrated in September. The week brings generations of people together to develop respect and appreciation for each other. Details on 2017 events to be posted closer to date.

Intergeneration Week began in 1997 when Sandy Kraemer, a lawyer, author and estate planner noticed the increasing isolation among people in different generations and created the Intergeneration Foundation.

"Communication encourages affection and appreciation. The wisdom of the old and the enthusiasm of the young must be exchanged to avoid mistakes of the past and to embrace opportunities in the future." - Sandy Kraemer
