Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP)
The Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP) provides pension benefits for all permanent employees of the Participating Employers. The Minister of Finance and Affordability is responsible for the administration of the PSPP and has delegated the day-to-day administrative duties to the Pensions & Benefits and Fiscal Management sections of the Department of Finance and Affordability.
The Pensions & Capital Management office is located on the 3rd floor of the Sullivan Building of the Provincial Administration Buildings Complex. Plan members with questions can call the office at (902) 368-4200.
Teachers' Pension Plan (TPP)
The Teachers' Pension Plan (TPP) provides pension benefits for all teachers who are permanent employees. This website contains information for members, pensioners, and employers about the benefits of the pension plan and its investments. The Teachers' Superannuation Commission is responsible for the administration of the TPP.
Daily administration duties are undertaken by the Pensions & Benefits and Fiscal Management sections of the Department of Finance and Affordability, located on the 3rd Floor of the Sullivan Building. Plan members with questions can call the office at (902) 368-4200.
