Computers for Communities Program

The Computers for Communities Program provides computer equipment to charities and not-for-profit organizations on Prince Edward Island. It is run through the Computers for Schools Program.

What kinds of computers, equipment or software are available?

You may apply for Pentium IV CORE 2 level computers & laptops through the program. The computers do not include an operating system. 

You may be eligible to receive Windows 7 and the Microsoft Office 2010 suite at a reduced cost through the Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) Program.

Who can apply for the program?

Registered not-for-profit organizations and charities on PEI can apply. You must use the computers for learning purposes and you cannot resell them.

What is the application fee for the program?

There is no fee for this program.
