Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP)

The Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP)  provides pension benefits for all permanent employees of the Participating Employers. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of the PSPP and has delegated the day-to-day administrative duties to the Pensions and Benefits section of the Department of Finance.

The Pensions & Benefits office is located on the 3rd floor of the Sullivan Building of the Provincial Administration Buildings Complex. Plan members with questions can call the office at (902) 368-4200.

Teachers' Pension Plan (TPP)

The Teachers' Pension Plan (TPP) provides pension benefits for all teachers who are permanent employees. This website contains information for members, pensioners, and employers about the benefits of the pension plan and its investments. The Teachers' Superannuation Commission is responsible for the administration of the TPP.

Daily administration duties are undertaken by the Pensions and Benefits section of the Department of Finance, located on the 3rd Floor of the Sullivan Building. Plan members with questions can call the office at (902) 368-4200.
