About the Mental Health Review Board
The purpose of the Mental Health Review Board is to review cases involving individuals who are suffering from mental disorder or who are believed to be in need of treatment provided in a psychiatric facility or addictions treatment facility in the province, as outlined in the Mental Health Act.
Who serves on the board?
One community member is appointed from among individuals who apply through Engage PEI.
Who is the minister responsible?
The minister responsible is the Minister of Health and Wellness.
