Moving Forward Step 5

In response to evolving data around the Delta variant, the emergence of a fourth wave of COVID-19 and rising case counts in PEI and Canada, PEI’s Moving Forward plan is currently remaining at Step 4.
The situation will continue to be monitored, and there will be a further update by the end of September, 2021. Screening and testing at the points of entry and isolation measures for travelers arriving in PEI who are not vaccinated will remain in place until at least mid October.

  • The level of disease is low and transmission is controlled within PEI, Atlantic provinces, and Canada.
  • High level of full vaccination among eligible PEI residents
