Re-openings

Most provincial government sites and services are open during office hours with some restrictions and exceptions, as noted below. Call ahead to confirm hours of service and location.

Access PEI sites and services

  • Access PEI in Charlottetown is extending Saturday morning hours (9-12) until the end of November.
    • Senior's hours (over 60) continue on Tuesday morning in Ch'town.
    • Island residents can also phone or email for services (such as drivers license or vehicle registration renewal) from anywhere in PEI - 902-838-0600 or email accesspeimontague@gov.pe.ca
  • Access PEI O’Leary, Summerside, Wellington, Charlottetown and Souris locations are open to the public.
    • Service is reserved for seniors only (age 60+) on Tuesdays from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
    • Use online services, if available.
  • Access PEI Montague is open to the public:
  • Alberton and Tignish locations open on alternate weeks.

Agriculture and Forestry Services

  • PEI Agricultural Insurance Corporation - Kensington Office (7 Gerald McCarville Drive) is open
  • Forestry and Wildlife services (183 Upton Road) by appointment only

Courts

Courts cases are heard by video, audio, and in-person as appropriate. Visit Courts - COVID-19 Impacts.

Due to construction on the Harbourside Access Road, you must access the Provincial Court in Charlottetown via the walkway off Water Street between the Court of Appeal/Supreme Court building and the office of the Crown Attorney.

Libraries

All 26 public library locations are open to the public to borrow books, DVDs, musical instruments and to use public computers.
