Flu Vaccination Clinics

The best way to protect yourself and others from the flu is to get vaccinated each year.
Health PEI Public Health Nursing offers Community Flu Vaccination Clinics in various locations across the province.
What is new for the 2020-2021 year?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Public Health Nursing Community Flu Vaccination Clinics will be offered by booked appointments. Booked appointments will ensure there is a safe number of people in the clinic at any given time. Individuals are required to wear a non-medical mask to the appointment.
FluMist® (nasal spray) is back this year and available only at the Public Health Nursing Community Flu Vaccination Clinics.
Individuals over 65 years of age are recommended to receive the influenza High-Dose Vaccine this year. The High-Dose Vaccine is currently available at the Public Health Nursing Community Flu Vaccination Clinics, as well as community pharmacies.
Will I have to pay for a flu shot?
The flu vaccine is free to all individuals living in Prince Edward Island. If you have a PEI Health Card, please bring it with you to the clinic. If you are not a Canadian resident, the fee is $40 for the flu vaccine.
How do I book an appointment for the community Flu vaccination clinic?

If you are taking a child who you are not the parent or legal guardian of, you must bring the Influenza Immunization Clinic Registration Form (2020/2021) [PDF | 117 KB] with the consent section signed by the parent or legal guardian with you, as well as the child’s provincial health card.
