Health Storm Centre
Due to inclement weather and road conditions, Health PEI reminds Islanders with appointments at hospitals, clinics and other health care services to please call ahead to confirm their appointment – or to notify staff if they are unable to make an appointment.
Health PEI will provide updates online at www.healthpei.ca/storm-centre whenever health programs and services are impacted.
Islanders are reminded to call 8-1-1 for non-urgent health care advice, or 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.

Immunization records can be obtained by contacting a Public Health Nursing office in your area.

Out-of-Province Travel Support
If you are a resident of PEI with a valid PEI Health Card and have received approval to obtain medical services out-of-province, you may be eligible for travel assistance through the Maritime Bus Program, Hope Air Flights Program or the Hope Air Bridge Toll Program.

PEI Health Card
You must have a valid PEI Health Card to receive publicly funded health care services in PEI. To apply, visit PEI Health Card.

PEI Pharmacare
PEI Pharmacare helps Islanders with the cost of eligible prescription medications, certain medical supplies and pharmacy services.

Patient Registry
The Patient Registry Program connects Islanders to a family doctor or nurse practitioner who is accepting new patients, whether you have just moved to PEI or have relocated within the province.

Virtual Health Care for Islanders without a Primary Care Provider
