Sherwood Home
About Sherwood Home
Sherwood Home provides enhanced care for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities who need either residential or respite care.
What is the admission process?
You or your loved one’s individual care needs will be evaluated through a standard health assessment. Sherwood Home also works closely with advocates, disability support and social workers in doing so.
Generally, there are three types of service:
- Short-term – for respite, to provide short-term relief to caregivers.
- Long-term – for permanent care.
- Day residents – for individuals who come to the home for services, as needed. For example: a day program is available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with lunch provided
