Walk-in Clinics

Should I go to a walk-in clinic?

Walk-in clinics provide non-urgent care at locations across the province.

Health PEI offers many other services for Islanders with and without a family doctor. See Access to Care for more information.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are unsure what to do, call 8-1-1 for advice from a registered nurse.

Where can I find a walk-in clinic?

Walk-in clinics are offered by Health PEI and by private operators.

Call the clinic before visiting as clinic hours listed below may change without notice.

Clinics serve patients on a first-come, first-serve basis. Clinics may close early when the maximum patient capacity has been reached, or if there are no patients waiting to be seen.

Due to demand, many clinics recommend you arrive (or book with Skip the Waiting Room) before the clinic opens.
