• Down Payment Assistance Program - Saving for a down payment for your first home may seem impossible. Depending on your income, you may qualify to receive an interest-free repayable loan up to 5% of the purchase price.
• Energy Efficiency Loan Program - PEI home-owners who are approved for the Energy Efficient Equipment Rebate and Home Insulation Rebate programs can apply for help with the up-front costs of products.

  • Need help for repairs to the roof, furnace, doors or windows? As a senior, if your combined family income is less than $50,000 per year, you may be eligible for up to a $4,000 grant to help with home repairs.
• Seniors Independence Initiative - Get financial help for practical services such as lawn mowing or snow removal that make it easier for you to remain in your own home.

  • Living in your own home requires safety precautions. Installation of aids such as grab bars, a shower stall and handrails can be helpful. As a senior, you could get up to $10,000 to make changes to improve the accessibility of your home. Funding is based on your annual income.
