- Down Payment Assistance Program - Saving for a down payment for your first home may seem impossible. Depending on your income, you may qualify to receive an interest-free repayable loan up to 5% of the purchase price.
- Energy Efficiency Loan Program - PEI home-owners who are approved for the Energy Efficient Equipment Rebate and Home Insulation Rebate programs can apply for help with the up-front costs of products.

- Need help with the cost of major structural renovations to your home? Eligible renovations include heating system, steps and ramps as well as plumbing requirements that improve life safety.
- Rent to Own Pilot Program - The Rent-to-Own Pilot Program gives Island residents with modest incomes who do not currently own a home the opportunity to "rent to own" an eligible home, up to a maximum value of $350,000 (including HST, if any).
- Closing Cost Program - The Closing Cost Support Program assists Prince Edward Islanders of low and modest incomes with financial assistance to cover a portion of the closing costs on the purchase of their first home. Eligible applicants can apply to receive a contribution of up to $2,500 to support the closing costs of the purchase.

- Need help for repairs to the roof, furnace, doors or windows? As a senior, if your combined family income is less than $50,000 per year, you may be eligible for up to a $4,000 grant to help with home repairs.
- Seniors Independence Initiative - Get financial help for practical services such as lawn mowing or snow removal that make it easier for you to remain in your own home.

- Living in your own home requires safety precautions. Installation of aids such as grab bars, a shower stall and handrails can be helpful. As a senior, you could get up to $10,000 to make changes to improve the accessibility of your home. Funding is based on your annual income.
