Hillsborough Park Concept Development Plan – Community Engagement Session

The Department of Social Development and Housing on behalf of the Prince Edward Island Housing Corporation is planning development of an 85-acre property in Hillsborough Park, Charlottetown. Residents are invited to participate in a community engagements session to provide their insight into the future development of the property. 

Fathom Studios will facilitate the engagement session and lead the design of a concept plan for the Hillsborough Park property. They will be gathering feedback from stakeholders and the local community for this parcel of property that will help support the development of this concept plan. It is anticipated that the property will include: 

  • 30 acres designated under the Natural Areas Protection Act;
  • Residential development with a mix of single family and multi-family households; and 
  • Park space and active transportation.

Community residents and businesses are invited to participate in one of the following engagement opportunities: 

  1. In-person session on August 9th, 6:30pm at the Carrefour Centre at 5 Acadian Drive. Click here to download presentation.
  2. Online Zoom session on August 10th at 6:30 pm. French interpretation will be offering during the Zoom session.
  3. Online feedback form available from August 9 – September 20, 2022
  4. Hard copy feedback forms will be available on this website on August 9 and can be dropped off in person or mailed to:
