Sexual Deviance Assessment/Treatment Program

What is the Sexual Deviance Assessment and Treatment Program?

The purpose of this program is to provide skilled assessment and treatment to adults and adolescents who have engaged in, or who are at risk of engaging in, sexually deviant behaviour.

What is the referral process?

This program is for adults and adolescents who are involved in the criminal justice system as a result of committing a sexual offence.  These individuals are referred by the courts, Probation Services, and Youth Justice Services. Services are made available regardless of whether or not a behaviour has resulted in a conviction under the Criminal Code of Canada.  A person may self-refer to the program and referrals are accepted from other agencies.

Is there a fee?

There is no fee for this program.
