Office of the Child and Youth Advocate
The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate supports the rights of children and youth in Prince Edward Island, making sure they have a voice in decisions that affect them. Staff of the office review provincial programs and laws that affect children and youth to ensure their rights are protected their well-being is protected.
The Child and Youth Advocate is an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly.
The PEI Children and Youth Table is under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate and has the authority for its scope, membership, roles and functions.
